Puffy Patch Blanket for babies in pastels, quilt designed by Susan Carlson of Felted Button | Colorful Crochet Patterns

::Playing Hooky with my Hooky::

This is the view outside my window. It has been ridiculously cold here and I'm off to warmer weather down south with my Lizzie Love. She needs me. And I need her. We're looking for a little healing and peace.

What a blast we have together! We plan to sleep late, eat what we want, talk, laugh, shop, swim, watch movies, and wear our jammies a lot.

Of course, I am taking a little hooky business with me. I have completed six rows of this puffy patch blankie with only three rows to go. Oh, and I have worked up a fabulous border in my head--if only I can translate it on the hook it will be fab!

I'm also taking a project with me that is halfway complete.

It will be a FREE PATTERN so please check back. It is really terrific, if I do say so myself. And if you haven't liked my Facebook page click here and like it. That way you'll stay in the "Button" loop.

{On the Board} -- Today will never come again. Be a blessing. Be a friend. Encourage someone. Take time to care. Let your words heal not wound.
