Eventide Blanket Crochet Pattern Ta-Dah!
I'm really excited about this latest hooky project! And in typical Felted Button style I had to have lots of color-play and lots of texture! With many wonderful suggestions for a name, I finally decided upon Eventide--which means
evening. But with the waves and colors of this sample, it suggests "tides", too.
Sometimes naming a design is the hardest part. I try to avoid names that are super common. I also try to avoid names that might limit someone's mind to flexibility with their own personal color choices. Because admit it...not everyone likes color as bright and bold as I do.
Another thing I always try to do with my patterns, is provide some sizing options so you can make it in any size you want. In fact, look at what Cass did with her test sample...
...she made it into an ice pack cover by adding a simple back. Hold it against a boo boo while protecting the skin. Brilliant, I tell ya!
I rated the pattern as Easy--lots of simple repeats. My sample was made with I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby. I love that it is super washable and really soft. Plus, I think the colors go really well together. It seems like a perfect blanket for a little one to finger and touch on the floor, too.
I hope you like it! You can find it for sale right here in my Felted Button shop or, in my Etsy shop or LoveCrafts shop.
I love to keep in touch with my yarn-loving color-crazed friends, too. (Even if you don't consider yourself these, I still love to keep in touch.) Follow @FeltedButton around on Instagram, or Facebook here, or Pinterest, too!
Note: My chalkboard took a tumble on my front porch when the wind blew it over and a big hole was knocked in the middle of it. But I decided that I could write around the sad hole, because how else will I share my thoughtful and happy little messages with my neighbors and passers-by? So this is what is...

Hugs and happy hooking to you, my lovely friends!
