Can You Hear the Song of the Sea?
Introducing the SEA SONG BLANKET!!
The sample shown is a baby blanket, but
could be made in any size you want. I made this with Red Heart Unforgettable in the Candied colorway--a yarn I have really come to love--but it could be done in any colorway you choose! The yarn is washable acrylic and listed as a worsted weight medium (4) but actually works more like a DK or light worsted. It really is altogether lovely.
Remember the Painted Pixels Blanket?
I made it with 7 different colorways of Unforgettable. See. Pretty yarn, huh?
And remember the Spring into Summer Blanket? I also made that one with the Candied Unforgettable.
Thanks to my talented testers who really helped me refine this pattern! If you are ever interested in being a tester, or just following me around, the best way to stay in the "Button Loop" is on Facebook here and Instagram here.

Ohhhh...the colors, the texture, the waves!!! This one makes me pretty gleeful! I've never seen anything like it--well, except inside my head! ;)

I might be a little obsessed, but it is wonderfully colored yarn! And I am all about color!
The Sea Song Blanket has the most incredible texture!! It seriously makes such a squishy and cozy blanket. And if you don't have access to Red Heart yarns in your area, any DK yarn with long color runs will be lovely. In fact, it could be pretty awesome done with solid color motifs from your stash! (Now I gotta try that, too!)
Made with join-as-you-go motifs it is my favorite kind of blanket!!
If you have never done a project with join-as-you-go motifs, and even if you have, this one is a bit different. But no worries as I provide lots of diagrams and pictures of the joining process. (You never need to print the picture section--just use as reference, if needed.)As always, my patterns are thoroughly tested. And remember, they are in standard US crochet terms.
You can read more about the pattern and get details here.
And you can find it and all of my other patterns in my shops...
