::Doodle Dots Blanket Pattern::
May I introduce the...
It's a perfect stash buster--just dig deep through your pile and go to town. I used a skein of the dot/joining color and small bits of the others. It would look pretty terrific in even two colors--like silver and white. I can easily see it done with soft pink, yellow and coral center dots and white ruffly edges. Even all one color might be simple and understated.
The little joins are super quick and simple--I've never seen anything like them but they make me very happy. I didn't join the pictured blanket squares "as-you-go", but it would be very easy to do if you wanted to close the little gaps at the corners. All it would require is a little slip stitch at the tip of each corner to the adjacent squares' tips.
Lots of color--19 to be exact.
Lots of texture--simple to work.
