::Ombre Ruffle Blanket Ta-Dah::
Ta-Dah!! It's available! And I am loving it. Oh, the things that I could do with the colors--I see aquas, yellows, greens, and even rainbows!
Can I tell you how cozy and warm this is?! But a very simple pattern--the kind you can work up while watching television! So what am I naming this new design?
Isn't that ombre just so fun?! I can see it in white fading to aqua. Or whites to creams to yellows. You could even do a tiered rainbow!
I was actually inspired by these cakes--well, and a really awesome shower curtain from Anthropologie.
Isn't creativity so fabulously amazing--that we can take something like a cake and envision it as a blanket and then with busy little hands make a version of it? Maybe I should have called this my Cake Ruffle Blanket?!
By the way, do you know what OMBRÉ means--having colors or tones that shade into each other--used especially in fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark (French, of course).
You can find it right here in my Felted Button Shop, or on--Etsy and LoveCrafts.
{On the Board} -- Today there are hearts to gladden, kind words to say, deeds to be done, and souls to be saved.
So--I'm off to do some of that! Be well, All!
